This two-day course empowers delegates to take full ownership of preparing and presenting comprehensive finance proposals. It provides the tools and knowledge needed to gather, interpret, and structure both financial and non-financial information effectively, ensuring proposals are clear, persuasive, and aligned with funder expectations. Participants will learn how to analyse full sets of accounts, apply key accounting concepts, and understand the importance of contextual details such as the reason for purchase, asset specifics, and additional security. By the end of the course, delegates will be confident in producing well-rounded proposals that support successful finance applications.
  • Build financial understanding by learning key accounting concepts and gaining a foundational grasp of the Profit & Loss account, Balance Sheet, and an introduction to the Cash Flow statement.
  • Explore credit and risk assessment, including both financial and non-financial factors, and learn how to present these effectively to funders or underwriters.
  • Take ownership of proposal development, understanding the full scope of information required to create a high-quality asset finance proposal.
